The most social among you are familiar with its purpose.
Yet, generally looking at the social media landscape — and speaking plainly — it appears only a small set of the most-dynamic social applications have developed a comparably complete social notifications feature.
That said, we’ll briefly explain this cool feature below.
The bell icon
The bell will notify you when another creator has taken an action toward you in the hub, by displaying the number of your new notifications.
When you click on the bell, your notifications box will open and display all your notifications over the last 30 days. Once you’ve viewed your notifications, the alarm bell re-sets and no number will be displayed again until you have a new notification.
Conveniently, at the tabs in your profile, you can re-visit any action by another creator that triggered a notification. The tabs reflect the all-time history of your notifications, as well as your actions in the hub.
You can use the notifications box as a real-time alert and recent archive of who’s engaging with you and your content in the hub.
And the notifications box shows you just how easily you can light up another creator’s day by proactively engaging with them or simply practicing social reciprocity.
